Cruise Ships Visit Manokwari

Motor vessel Oceanic Discoverer visited Mansinam island of Manokwari twice this month. It was the second ship that entered Dore bay this year. The first one was Caledonian Sky. As the capital of West Papua province, Manokwari regency is the center of government administration in the bird's head region of New Guinea. The arrival of tourists in this town will attract the attention of the local government.

According to the plan of Cruise Asia, bigger cruise ship will visit Manokwari in 2015. We expect Coral Princess to come on 6 February 2015 when the guests will be able to watch Cultural Parade that are attended by tens of thousands of participants who come from all corners of New Guinea and several regencies in Indonesia.
